With such a wide selection of holiday villas in Spain and Mallorca to choose from, we have only selected the ones that offer that certain 'something special'; so understandably the standards of our Spanish villas are generally high.
Generally kitchens in our villas in Spain are modern and fitted with full hob, oven and microwave. There will be a fridge with freezer and most villas in Spain feature a dishwasher and washing machine amongst the inventory. As well as the kitchen, all Spanish holiday villas have barbecue facilities, most are built in on the terrace and there will also be an outdoor dining area.
Where the number of bathrooms is listed under the Spanish villa name we make no distinction between a bathroom and a shower room with either a bath or shower stall. The facility in each bathroom will be described in the descriptive copy with separate toilets detailed where present.
Air conditioning, where available, may be subject to an additional charge. The more modern villas in Spain are often equipped with ceiling fans. Some Spanish villas have central heating or radiators which make them attractive for off-season and winter lets.
Most of our villas in Spain have an open fire or in some cases a wood burning stove. The fire will warm the villa nicely on cool evenings and give an added cosy atmosphere. Logs are cheap and readily available, a starter supply is often provided for off-season lets.
TV reception in our villas in Spain varies and is often restricted to an English speaking news and a sports channel. Any extra programmes will be a bonus. DVD players are available in many of our Spanish villas, standard UK videos and Region 2 disks will play in colour just like at home.
The swimming pool dimensions quoted for our villas in Spain have, in most cases, been measured then rounded to the nearest half metre. Depths are generally accurate but please reassure yourself on arrival for the safety of your family. With irregular shaped pools, the maximum size is quoted.
Some pools in the Spanish villas benefit from pool heating and this is noted in the description. Supplementary charges for pool heating are shown in the villa's description, usually at the bottom.
Living rooms in our villas in Spain are well furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs so you can truly relax. Terraces are furnished with sun loungers, quality garden furniture and parasols or pergolas. Bedrooms will usually have ample storage and hanging space but not always in each bedroom.
Bed linen, tea towels and hand towels are provided in our Spanish villas, but you're expected to take your own beach and pool towels to use unless noted in the description. Linen and towels are usually changed weekly. There are no formal maid services but often these can be arranged and paid for locally, please ask for details.
Whilst most of our holiday villas in Spain are very attractively decorated and furnished, we make no apologies for the taste of our Spanish villa owners. We occasionally accept that not all rooms are exactly as we would like them. We endeavour to either tell it as it is in the description or make it clear in the photographs, although we can't always show every room. If you have any particular fears on this matter please ask and we'll advise you.
A security deposit may be required to cover the cost of any breakages or incidentals during your stay and sometimes for the provision of air conditioning and pool heating where available. This is normally taken care of locally by pre-authorisation on your credit card. No money is actually taken at the time, an amount is set aside and deducted if required. You will be advised by our agents if any charges are due. Occasionally we may have to collect a deposit here in the UK which is held safely and refunded on your return.
