The Villa

From the kerb in this little cul-de-sac, Magnolia looks like a simple village house, but don’t let initial appearances fool you. Wonderfully located in one of the best spots in the whole of Carvoeiro, nestling into the hillside in a secluded spot with spectacular views, yet within a short walk of the town (downhill) local restaurants and the beach. The attractive terrace by the front entrance is nicely furnished with outdoor seating and a dining table to enjoy that wonderful view of the cliffs beside the town beach.

Accommodation

As soon as you step through the front door you get an impression of the imaginative design used to completely transform this property into a holiday home that truly is something special. Under the wooden-clad vaulted ceiling are two bedrooms, each has twin mattresses on a double base with full-size topper, so can be made up as twins or a luxurious king-size beds. Air-conditioning, robes, a window with views to the sea and each has ensuite shower room. A cosy sitting room with two chaise sofas and a wall mounted TV complete this area. As you continue into the property you enter the fabulous kitchen and dining room, with top-of-the-range appliances and superb styling, this is the heart of the home where everyone can gather for relaxed dining and entertaining.

The master bedroom is off this gathering room, it has twin mattresses on a double base with king-size topper, air-conditioning, steps up to a luxury bathroom with freestanding bath and shower and a dressing area. Patio doors open from the bedroom and the gathering room to an enclosed, private courtyard with another dining table, gas grill and useful preperation worktop.

The Pool

Steps lead up to the wildflower garden contained within ancient walls and the stunning black tiled swimming pool, complete with tiki sunshades, pretty seating area and a pool shower. From this very secluded setting there are amazing views over the cliffs and town beach to the sea. This truly is a wonderful property that can be enjoyed at any time of the year, it may be my favourite...
