Ferries to France
There are regular cross channel services from a range of Ferry operators in the UK. The most frequent operate from Dover to Calais but, depending on the location of your villa in France, sometimes it's easier to take a ferry from Portsmouth, Plymouth or Weymouth to one of the French ferry ports further down the French west coast. Bookings should be made with the ferry operators directly and their websites can be accessed through the links listed below (click on their logos). Please be aware that when arriving for your selected ferry to France, should you not arrive within the specified time prior to the ferry's departure, then the operator will reserve the right to charge an additional fee to allow boarding on the next available ferry. For delays caused by factors beyond your control, holiday insurance should cover such eventualities.
