Solenzara Corsica Holiday villas - Out & About:

Whilst Solenzara gives the impression of being quieter and more relaxed than perhaps Porto Vecchio (its near neighbour to the south), there is still lots to see and do, particularly for those seeking an adventure holiday in Corsica. Active children (and adults) will enjoy the Aerial Extreme Adventure Park just to the south of Solenzara, with its rope bridges, ascents and quick descents by zip wire.

You can head inland from Solenzara towards Zonza and the Bavella mountains for some superb sightseeing. But if you'd prefer to get in amongst nature, there's excellent walking and swimming in rock pools around Solenzara, plus more extreme rock hopping, canyoning and abseiling.

As Solenzara is located on east coast Corsica, between Bastia and Porto Vecchio, you do have a greater choice of flights: Bastia is under 2 hours away and Figari about an hour by car.

The east coast of Corsica is the quieter side of the island and is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday, especially if you want to get in amongst nature. From Bastia to Solenzara, this lovely area is the 'garden of Corsica' and has an abundance of fruit farms. With an array of lagoons, wide Corsica beaches and intimate coves, east coast Corsica offers excellent walking, swimming in rock pools and diving; along with more extreme adventure activities such as rock hopping, canyoning and abseiling. Inland from the coast towards Zonza and the Bavella mountains you can enjoy superb sightseeing.
