CAR RENTAL CONDITIONS
- The rates shown are for pre-booked unlimited mileage rentals. Minimum rental period is 2 days.
Prices include Collision and Theft Waiver (CDW), Third party cover, VAT, Licence fees, Road tax and
airport surcharges.
Insurance Exclusions and Excess Refund Policy:
For only €10 per day (€14 for special vehicles) The Avis excess waiver policy will cover you for excess that you may be charged for damage caused as a result of an accident. Our local supplier may charge you this excess, but you can reclaim this providing you complete an accident report form on returning your car, and then forward a copy of this to Worldwide Cars.
Insurance does not cover damage to tyres, windows, the roof, the underside, the interior of the car, towing charges or damage caused wilfully or recklessly. You may therefore be liable for the cost of this damage. Insurance cover is not provided for the contents of the car in the event of theft. In the event that keys are lost or damaged you will be liable for reasonable costs obtaining a replacement. - Several documents have to be given on arrival at desk: A voucher from The Villa Company, a driving license held for more than one year, a credit card and booking documents. A guarantee payable only by credit card for a maximum of €1376 will be asked on arrival at Avis checking desk (Visa except electron, American Express, Diners, Eurocard Mastercard except Maestro). Please note that debit card will not be accepted
- In case of cancellation for a special vehicle (minibus, automatics, convertible, estate) a month prior to arrival, 50% of the total cost will be credited. In case of no show the total amount will be credited.
- Baby and child seats are available on request, €28 per booking.
- Personal Accident Insurance is not included however, if you have holiday insurance booked with the Villa Company, you already have sufficient cover. See your insurance policy for full details of cover and any excesses applicable.
- Car types shown represent the main vehicles offered in each group. Similar vehicles may be substituted.
- A full driving licence must be produced by each driver who must be at least 21 years of age and have held the licence for a minimum of one year. Young drivers under 25 will be due to pay an extra charge of €25 per day (for a maximum of 10 days)
- Car are supplied with full tank of fuel, return full or a charge will apply.
- Your rental contract is direct with the car hire supplier and subject to their terms and conditions.
- Amendments to your original booking will have to be sent by fax to the Avis agency of the departure with details of the reservation.
